You're a flower, you are. Just a little desert flower.*
Pics from the annual Donbro trip to Carter Mountain. I think this was the first year that I realized we basically drive out to Charlottesville, eat some apple donuts and then head back home. Sometimes we stop by Hardee's and get some chicken.

The Dark Side of Nowhere by Neal Shusterman
This book was "ok". Didn't stick with me like some of Shustetman's other books.
Dance of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
Pretty good. I enjoyed the first book best but I think that's normal. Fast paced plot makes this a quick read (which if you can't tell- is a theme this month).
Fairest of Them All by Serena Valentino
I didn't really like this - I read a review that said it was simplistic writing, but that the simplistic writing went well with the Disney version of the story. So I gave it that but I still didn't like it overall.
Eve and Adam by Michael Grant & Katherine Applegate
Interesting concept with some plot twists. Definitely a quick read
The Forgetting Tree by Tatjana Soli
I wish I could forget this book. I couldn't tell where this book was going until the end and it wasn't in a "oh that's a cool twist" kind of way. Granted, this isn't my usual genre of enjoyment, but still.
