Why, aren't you sassy? And a little sad.*

Blog Bucks: the last post's title was from Clueless - Congratulations to Isaac, Sarah, and G-Sauce

The rest of my time in Utah was spent with family (a little bit with Christian's family).  I got to spend lots of time with Sadie and get to know her better.  Love this little girl, she is so active and funny.  I love how much she enjoys dancing and well...she is apparently mine:
Saddie is on the left and I'm on the right...see a resemblance?

Her teddy bear that she absolutely loved, but would just dump and leave when the going got rough.

yeah....she IS totally me

She had this amazing trick of losing her pacifier while we were walking.

Jamba Juice!! How I have missed you!

I thought she looked so cute in her pink dress!

Sunday we were able to go see the water fall and the nudist ranch (yes, you read that right).

We both fell asleep on the way there

Touching the water

Tasting the water

We stop and ate lunch and there was snow on the ground!

Turns out the nudist ranch was closed though....bummer (huge sigh of relief actually, I didn't want to accidentally run in to a nudist).

I'm trying to imitate the bear to my left

Then I was dropped off at Christian's because I had a 6 am flight...which apparently, Christian did not.  We had the same layover, but we were about 6 hours apart.  He dropped me off at the airport and I picked up in Richmond.  Sunday night though we played Ticket to Ride where his 7-year-old nephew, Zach, beat me....but beat his father worse.  It's okay, I have lost Chess to a 6-year-old before, but that's not why it's okay.  It's okay because Zach trash talked, and he did it well.  He had a good strategy, completed all of his destination cards, and had an amazing poker face...okay, okay, the poker face was a lie.  I knew when he got a wild and when he got a card he didn't need, but in the end, that didn't matter because he didn't let on to where he was headed and so I couldn't have blocked him.  It was an honor to lose to him.

I loved this visit to Utah.  I had kind of forgotten what it was like to take a vacation where you just relax most of the time.  I feel very well rested and am a little sad to be back at work, but we've got to work so I'll get over it.
