I'm sailing! I'm a sailor!*

First, let me apologize for the amount of time it has taken me to post all of these. Blogger was being a real pain in my you know what and not loading pictures correctly, or saving things correctly, or basically working...correctly.  Even as I typed this I had a little complication, but here's hoping it was just a small glitch and things are back to normal.

Next on the Yankee docket is New Hampshire. We drove straight to our hotel to drop off our stuff and actually crossed over to Maine first, driven by our growling stomachs. We found the place, figured out the process, but then realized we wouldn't have time to eat and get back in time for our boat tour in New Hampshire. So - hungry tummies and light heads, we returned to New Hampshire. We looked for shot glasses...that failed, but we did find Annabell's Ice Cream. It's rated as one of the top 10 ice cream places according to Yahoo Travel.

We even verified it with this chalk covered sign on the outside - you know that's legit. But whether or not this is truth, the ice cream was delicious.

This helped to placate our stomachs while we went out to sea.

I was on a boat - between the Maine and New Hampshire border, you can probably imagine where my mind went...

But, we had a bigger boat so we were okay.

So no shark photos (thank goodness - I put sharks and ghosts in the same sub folder of my mind - things that both fascinate me and scare me and that I never actually want to see).

But here are some photos.  I actually liked being on the boat.  At first I wasn't sure how my body felt about it, but it adapted quickly (just like the T (train) in Boston) and I thought it was gorgeous!

G's lighthouse - I feel like we were always looking for them in New Jersey and Delaware...I learned later that G was actually on the look out for Pete's Dragon - we all have our things.

I look so happy to be out on the water...actually, G kept photo bombing...over and over again, and she didn't even mean to.  If you look closely you can see her shoulder and a wisp of hair.

I thoroughly enjoyed the name of this boat. If you can't see it, it says, "My trust fund"

I wouldn't say 'no' to living here, even if I would never go in the water.

I learned that these trees were originally planted to be used in mast making, but it never happened.

Before heading back over to Maine we looked at some of the shops in hopes of finding a shot glass and a sticker.  We found them, along with some...artwork?
And an apathetic dog in a candy shop (yeah, there has to be some kind of health code violation there).

Also, I had a moment where I thought we lost Kami, for forever.  She went to the back of this store to see if they had any tourist gifts and G and I finally followed but she was no where to be found.  I called her phone, no answer and since I've been reading the news more my first thought was foul play.  It turned out that she found it too hard to turn around and get back to us so she went through the side door and came back in to the store through the front...I reprimanded her for scaring me (not really).

And that, my friends, was New Hampshire.

On a scale from one to ten - I give it an 8, I really enjoyed it and I would return for a longer visit if the opportunity presented itself.

What about Bob? Did he figure in here somewhere? I'm guessing I won't get credit for Jaws. :/
